Woman In Danger Of Losing An Eye After Bridgeport Stabbing

A woman is in danger of losing an eye after she was stabbed during an incident in Bridgeport.

Bridgeport Police learned of the attack that took place on Wednesday, May 8, at Putnam and Park streets after being alerted by walked into Bridgeport Hospital for help, said Terron Jones, of the Bridgeport Police Department.

Not much is known about the incident, but detectives are working to gather more information on the stabbing, Jones said.

Jones reported the injury was not life-threatening, but the victim will “most likely lose her eye.”
